Besides getting to attend some really cool events, I’ve got to admit that the most exciting part for me is when a picture I took, or a story I wrote, gets published for the whole world to see! It’s a new hobby for me to just google my name and see what comes up (say what you want, but that makes me famous in my book!) … but keep in mind there’s a professional poker player with the same name, so if you feel the urge, search “Jennifer P Harman” ;~)

I like to try to capture human emotion … but that’s not always what the Navy is looking for when selecting images for publishing. I love seeing images that invoke some kind of emotion in me, and I’ve realized that I have a passion for trying to portray that in my images.
